Samuel Wallace is widely recognized as a promising artist with a bright career ahead.
Recently, he stood out in prestigious vocal competitions, securing second place in the 3rd Joaquina Lapinha Vocal Competition and the 3rd Natércia Lopes Vocal Competition, as well as being a finalist in the renowned Maria Callas Competition.
As an opera performer, Samuel has shone in significant roles, such as Tamino in Mozart’s The Magic Flute and the title role in Guilherme Bernstein's opera Serafim and the Place Where One Does Not Die. In 2024, he excelled as Dorvil in Rossini's La Scala di Seta and participated in the Gala Lírica of the 13th Tenor Meeting of Brazil at the Amazonas Theater.
In September 2024, Samuel was awarded a scholarship by the Mozarteum Brasileiro to join the Internationale Chorakademie under the baton of conductor Rolf Beck in Germany. During this international experience, he performed in concerts in Germany and at the Philharmonie de Paris, conducted by maestro Raphaël Pichon. In 2025, at the invitation of the Coletivo das Artes, Samuel will participate in two opera festivals in Espirito Santo, further solidifying his presence in the operatic scene.
Samuel has also attended masterclasses with renowned artists from the Brazilian and international opera scene, such as Atalla Ayan, Patrizia Ciofi (Italy), Marcel Boone (Switzerland), Adriane Queiroz, Sávio Sperandio, Gabriella Pace, Kismara Pezzati, Ludmilla Bauerfeldt, Paulo Mandarino, pianist Fábio Bezuti, and conductors Tamás Salgó (Hungary), Guilherme Bernstein, and Mateus Araújo.
A native of Serra, Espírito Santo, Samuel Wallace is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice at the Faculty of Music of Espírito Santo (FAMES), under the guidance of Licio Bruno.
