Baldini is the concertmaster of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, the principal conductor of the Ñube Symphony Orchestra in Chile, and the principal conductor of the Conservatório de Tatuí Symphony Orchestra in Brazil. In 2017, he received the award for Best Instrumentalist from APCA - the São Paulo Association of Art Critics.
He won his first international competition at the age of 12 and later the Virtuositè in Geneva and the first prize at the Fórum Junger Künstler in Vienna. He has given recitals in major Italian and European cities and embarked on extensive tours throughout South America, the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan.
Baldini has recorded Franck and Magnard's sonatas, Viotti's Duets for Two Violins and Sonatas for Violin and Cello, a CD featuring virtuosic works by Paganini, as well as works by Martucci and Locatelli's Caprices for Solo Violin. In 2007, he released the CD "Virtuoso" featuring works for violin and piano by Sarasate, Kreisler, Tartini, Mignone, among others.
He has served as concertmaster for the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Trieste, also acting as concertmaster in the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra in Milan.
As a soloist, he has performed with the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Wiener Kammerorchester, the Flanders Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moldova State Orchestra, and the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi Orchestra in Trieste. Claudio Abbado wrote about him: "I was impressed by his musicality and such technical skill."
Born in Trieste, Italy, he began his violin studies with Bruno Polli and later refined his skills in the virtuosity class of Corrado Romano in Geneva, with Ruggiero Ricci in Berlin and Salzburg, and in chamber music with the Trio di Trieste and Franco Rossi, the cellist of the Italian Quartet.
