"The highlight of the performance was the Modinha da Baiana, which Edineia de Oliveira delivered with the perfect blend of sensuality and melancholy, clearly conveying the idea of a young woman embittered by her marriage to an older man, dreaming of the emotions that life alongside an adventurer might offer her. Although the vocal possibilities offered by the role are limited, Edineia felt entirely at ease, skillfully creating a character on stage."
