reviews
"One name stands out clearly at the end of this concert, that of Ramon Theobald. A pianist attentive to his singers, concerned with nuances in the accompaniment, the young Brazilian also conducts the end of La Finta. It is impressive to hear how the singers sound more relaxed and more expressive under his guidance. A rare talent that sacrifices nothing to the theatre consubstantial with this repertoire."

"Ramon Theobald on the piano, with his delicate and smooth touch, masterfully accompanies the voice, accompanying all variations of intensity and character, in strong harmony with his artistic partner. In the two solo interludes that allow the singer to leave the stage for a few moments, the piano notes weave a pleasant musical continuity with a sound that is both intimate and moving."

"The piano held by Ramon Theobald also articulates, as if the instrument were speaking: each arpeggiated note is a syllable forming a phrasing, each chord is clear as a word. The instrument thus in dialogue with the voice, in this construction but also literally (as when the score makes it play the songs of the birds evoked by the poem)."
