In addition to her renowned work as a pianist, Priscila has developed a wide and growing career as a conductor, performing concerts with the leading symphony orchestras in Brazil, such as the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra - OSB (RJ), Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra - OSPA (RS), Theatro São Pedro Orchestra (SP), Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Campinas (SP), and the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theatre Symphony Orchestra, where she has been working for many years in their opera productions.
She is the conductor of the Junior Symphony Orchestra Chiquinha Gonzaga, an orchestra formed by public school students from Rio de Janeiro, and she was the first woman to conduct an opera in the official season of the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theatre.
Her resume includes musical direction and conducting of the operas Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Cendrillon (Pauline Viardot), Orphèe (Philip Glass), Larilá (Arrigo Barnabé), Dadá (Armando Lôbo), Protocolares (Mário Ferraro), Armida Abbandonata and Serse (Handel), Arianna a Naxos (Haydn), El barberillo de lavapiés (Barbieri), La Belle Hélène and The Tales of Hoffmann (Offenbach), as well as the works Pierrot Lunaire (Schoenberg) and Le Vin Herbé (Frank Martin).
Priscila was born in Portugal, where she began her musical studies, and she holds a Master's degree in piano from UFRJ, with significant expertise in sight-reading on the piano.
