Luis Felipe Sousa
bass-baritone
“The Papageno of the Brazilian bass-baritone Luis Felipe Sousa is skillfully rendered with a buoyant voice, his flexible timbre combining strength and gentleness. He unfolds some resonances in the long phrases. Agile in his acting and both theatrical and vocal intentions, his vibrato provides support and strength, with roundness and vigor.”

REVIEWS
"Luis Felipe Sousa is here nicknamed Miles Sugarman and is assigned the functions of DJ and fortune teller but also doctor, which effectively corresponds to the character he plays in the excerpt from Pelléas et Mélisande. His voice is applied, balanced, with a protocol phrasing. He also demonstrates the notable work on French that this training allows."
