Luis-Felipe has been a resident artist at the Académie de l’Opéra National de Paris since September 2023. With the Académie, he has performed at the Opéra Garnier, the Olivier Messiaen Amphitheater (Opéra Bastille), and the Maison de la Culture 93.
Since then, he has performed the Le Fauteuil in the opera L'Enfant et les Sortilèges (M. Ravel), George Jones in Street Scene, (Kurt Weill) and sung in the gala concert at the Palais Garnier. In the 2024/2025 season, he will sing Enrico in L'isola Disabitata (J. Haydn) and Le Précepteur in Les Brigands (J. Offenbach), both productions of the Paris Opera.
He has appeared with renowned Brazilian orchestras such as the Campinas Symphony Orchestra, the USP Symphony Orchestra, the Ribeirão Preto Symphony Orchestra, the USP Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Barra Mansa Symphony Orchestra, performing in major concert halls like Sala São Paulo (SP) and Palácio das Artes (MG). In Europe, he has performed in Italy, Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg.
He has won prizes in prestigious singing competitions in Brazil, including second place in the international Linus Lerner Singing Competition – Brazil Edition, first prize in the XIII Estímulo para Cantores Líricos competition, and first place in the inaugural Natércia Lopes competition.
He was part of the Minaz Opera Company in Ribeirão Preto, where he made his solo debut in 2016 as the Commendatore (D. Giovanni) in a production for young singers. Since then, he has performed roles such as Don Basilio (The Barber of Seville), Sam (Troubles in Tahiti), Gaudêncio (O Diletante), and Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro), among others. His repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary works, including Brazilian operas and world premieres.
He holds a degree in lyrical singing from the University of São Paulo/Ribeirão Preto and a master's degree in historical musicology and performance from the State University of Campinas.
